Grandparents' Day in Patrickswell N.S.
and
Unveiling of Mrs O'Brien's Memorial Plaque

Dear Parents/Guardians,

On Friday afternoon, April 19th, we will host our first ever “Grandparents' Day” in the school. We will also unveil a memorial plaque to a much loved and very dedicated former employee of Patrickswell N.S., the late Mrs 'Philly' O Brien. All guests are welcome to attend the unveiling of the plaque. The unveiling will take place at 2.00 p.m. sharp. We would be grateful for your help in publicising this event.
With respect to “ Grandparents' Day,” we would be delighted to host as many of our pupils' grandparents, elder relatives and/or older neighbours on Friday. Again, we would be very grateful for any help you can give us to promote “Grandparents' Day.” A good attendance of grannies and grandas, grandaunts and granduncles and older neighbours would ensure a worthwhile and memorable occasion for all involved.
