A Quiz Night to Remember!

Anti Bullying Talk

Patrickswell NS Parents' Association, together with Patrickswell GAA Club, are hosting an Anti Bullying Talk for Parents/Guardians/Coaches/Mentors and anyone involved with children next Wednesday, March 1st, from 7:15 - 9.00 pm in the National School Hall. 

This is a free event. 

Discussion Points as follows:

- What is Bullying ?
- Symptoms of Bullying
- Why do children bully ?
- Dealing with Bullying behaviour in schools
- What if my Child is bullying ?
- What if my child tells me they are being bullied?
- Cyber Bullying
- Procedures

 All are welcome.

Fab Night at our Annual Table Quiz!

Thanks to everybody who made Friday night's fundraising Table Quiz such a social (& financial) success. The quiz was organised by our super-supportive Parents' Association. The wonderful atmosphere was created by the 30 teams and other friends who participated so enthusiastically in the quiz. John Murphy and Co. opened the extension to the beautifully redecorated lounge to facilitate the large crowd. 'Ali Baba' provided the half-time treats.
A record number of prizes for the raffle were donated by parents of pupils in the school, staff members, past pupils, businesses based in the Parish and other companies with a connection to the school.
We are very grateful to each and every person who contributed to the success of our Table Quiz in any way, great or small.
