'Meitheal' to Paint the School

Meitheal

The Irish word ‘Meitheal’ means ‘a collective effort for the greater good of the community’. It describes the old Irish tradition of people coming together to respond to local needs.


Míle buíochas / sincere thanks to all who helped out with the recent painting of the schoolyard and those who started painting the front of the school today (see photos)...

Here's what's left to do (see photos). We also need to paint plinths, barges, windowsills and the metal bars around the gates...
